You know that weight training makes you feel fit and develop your muscle to adapt to the different weights stress. But you have been on the training for two months now. But still you are not satsfied by the training you get. Think again, because you may not notice it but there are changes in your body especially in your capacity to lift weights. Here are they ways to improve your weight training.

  • Always learn the right technique. Since you enroll yourself in the training, proper technique is very important so that all your efforts will not be put to waste. If you know that your are not doing the technique properly, ask your trainer to help you do the right thing. Never keep it to yourself if your are unsure of what you are doing. Remember that you pay for it. It is just right that you get the quality of service from them.
  • Start on your own pace. Since it is your first time in the training, you can start slow. Try lifting few pounds on your first week. In the succeeding weeks, you muscle will be adjusted to weights you lift, you can now move to a heavier lifts. You can do 10 repetitions and you will notice the progress in your body especially in the ligaments and the tendons.
  • Try to do one set of single repetitions. Studies show that doing a countless repetition in the gym for several hours is the best approach to start your weight training. This can build your muscles if you are able to do three sets of the same exercise. But try not to exhaust yourself. Take your time and do not rush.
  • Since you are bound to finish a single set, give yourself a break. You need time to rest so that your muscle can recover from the efforts you just did. You need to have at least a whole day to rest so regain your strength back. You may experience muscle pain if you are not able to do the warm-up properly. For your specific muscle groups, you do a specific schedule for it so that your body will not be stressed out if you are going to lump all the weight lifts in one session.
